TX Contemporary Fair’s IT List out: Glasstire’s on board!

The most recent press release from Max Fishko of the upcoming Texas Contemporary Art Fair lists the fledgling fair’s participants, sponsors and friends so far:

Moody Gallery, Sicardi Gallery and Wade Wilson Art have joined Inman Gallery and the Texas Gallery to participate in the show. They will be joined by ACME Gallery from Los Angeles, Samuel Freeman from Santa Monica, Baer Ridgway Exhibitions, Catharine Clark Gallery and Rena Bransten Gallery from San Francisco, Lennon Weinberg from New York City and the Fredric Snitzer Gallery from Miami.

Local media sponsors include the Houston Chronicle, Modern Luxury’s Houston magazine, online art publication Glasstire (which is planning a sensational micro-booth for the event) and radio stations KUHF/KUHA. In addition to a special partnership with the CAMH, The fair has cozied up to a number of other Texas orgs including Artpace, Art League Houston, Ballroom Marfa, Community Artists’ Collective, fluent~collaborative, HMAAC, Art League Houston, DiverseWorks Art Space, The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, The Orange Show, Skydive and Project Row Houses.

So far the host committee includes Carlos Bacino, Clare Casademont, Jereann Chaney, Susie Criner, Sanford Criner, Fairfax Dorn, Marita Fairbanks, JB Fairbanks, Melissa Grobmyer, Fredericka Hunter, Janet Hobby, Kerry Inman, Sissy Kempner, Denny Kempner, Julie Kinzelman, Dillon Kyle, Sam Lasseter, Virginia Lebermann, Marley Lott, Libbie Masterson, Kelie Mayfield, and Lea Weingarten.
