Techno Busters will join the Chaos Creators at the Houston Regionals

Congratulations to the Techno Busters, one of the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams from Techno Chaos! The Techno Busters received 1st Place in Research Project and 2nd Place in Teamwork. They qualified to go to the Houston Regional FLL Championship to be held on February 23rd. Way to go Techno Busters!

RoboFest is coming to Techno Chaos

This spring Techno Chaos will host the RoboFest Game Competition. We look forward to bringing this robot competition to the Sugar Land area and look forward to see what students come up with for the challenge!

Keep Toys Alive

Keep Toys Alive by bringing us your broken toys! During our MAKE Week of December 31st, we will teach campers how to fix them or reuse their components. We will also take any unused electronic items like printers. We will accept toys until December 28th, 2012.

Using recycled materials students can do fun hands-on activities

As schools look for ways to increase the number of scientists and engineers for our workforce, they are constrained with budget cuts and how much time teachers can get hands-on activities into the classroom. Hands-on activities are a key to learning.

Chaos Creators receive invitation to Houston Regionals

Congratulations to the "Chaos Creators", one of the FLL teams from Techno Chaos. The Chaos Creators qualified to go to the Houston area FLL Championship by excellent performance at the 2nd annual Sugar Land tournament.

Does your child want to create things that move?

Machines can move by gravity, turning on power or running a program. Each of these machines are fun in their own way and provide ideas for additional innovations. If you child is interested in a particular area of machines, please let us know so that we can advise which would appeal to them, otherwise we would recommend the following starter classes based on age groups:

Have a 4-6 year old interested in building with LEGOs and making their own creations?

This is a great sign of a curious mind! We need to encourage this creating and help them work on their fine motor skills. Each child will vary in their ability to put LEGO pieces together and ability to notice the differences in pieces. Many of our classes targeted for this age are focused on helping them with these skills and encouraging their creativity.
