Statement
As a young artist with a strong understanding of art history, I find myself struggling with the possibility to create anything new or significant. My work is created on a backdrop of past and current artists that influence my understanding of art and its progression.
Growing up in an era where information is easily available it becomes difficult to determine significance and meaning. I emphasize this issue by using objects and means that are easily available due to capitalism, globalization and advances in technology.
