Chuck Ivy is a research artist and copywright, a photographer, musician, and, generally speaking, a man of many hats—mostly fedoras. His pursuit of photography began in 2000 after he and his wife moved to Los Angeles. He received his Associate of Arts degree in Commercial Photography at Santa Monica College before returning to Houston. He received his BFA in Photography/Digital Media from the University of Houston in 2009, where he is currently working towards an MFA in Interdisciplinary Practices & Emerging Forms. Chuck is also a member of Beans Barton & the Bi-Peds, a band which combines music, poetry, performance art and theatrical elements.
