More Information
Houston Community College, Southeast, is seeking project driven proposals for their Artist-in-Residence Program, Fall 2012. The preferred artist’s work will be non-media driven and site-sensitive to Southeast College, examining specific community college concerns, political histories, behavior rituals, or post-natural ecologies on campus. The residency position will comprise performance or installation in traditional or non-traditional spaces on campus. Teaching one course on-campus is optional. If teaching is desired, an MFA degree is required.

The chosen Artist-in-Residence will work with the Arts and Languages Department, the Southeast College Media Department, and engage Southeast College students. He or she will use their own social media for pre and post-production in conjunction with their exhibition.
