Call For Artist-in-Residence Proposals

FrenetiCore's Artist-in-Residence program, begun in March 2010, functions to support emerging and established artists in the Houston area. FrenetiCore is currently accepting proposals for their upcoming Artist-in-Residence period, taking place late summer/early fall 2013. Artists in the fields of dance, theater, film, music, visual art and multidisciplinary work are encouraged to apply. Participants receive technical and marketing support through FrenetiCore’s website, ticketing service, email marketing and social media. AIRs are also given access to free rehearsal and performance space at Frenetic Theater.
Interested participants should email a one-page proposal to info@freneticore.net. Proposals for the AIR program should include an artist/group biography, links to work samples (if applicable), a description of your performance concept, and an explanation of why Frenetic Theater is the best venue for the creation and presentation of your proposed project.
