Minimalism Rodeo; “the wild west, but less of it”

Minimalism Rodeo
"The wild west, but less of it."

Mid 20th century was an exciting time in the wild West: canvas unstretched as far as the eye could see, great herds of Abstract Expressionists roamed the galleries and it was up to the brave cowboys and cowgirls of Minimalism to reduce the untamed frontier of American art. In celebration of these heroes, Wardenclyffe is pleased as punch to present the First (& Last) Annual Minimalism Rodeo (& County Fair). We are holding a Blue Ribbion Contest for "Best Shape". There will also be a lasso you can play with if you want to.

Guest curated by Connor Shea, guest curator.

Submissions close December 25th. Show opens January 18th, at Wardenclyffe Gallery, 1101 Springdale road, Austin.
