Gallery Internship
Anya Tish Gallery is seeking a gallery intern to aid staff members with administrative and creative tasks, beginning early January 2013. Needs to be extremely organized, detail oriented, a graduate or a student of art history or studio arts. Should be passionate about art, with highly developed writing skills. Will learn and help with installation along with the curating of exhibitions and daily gallery maintenance. Will help to promote current and upcoming exhibits through printed, online and social media. Familiarity with Photoshop or InDesign is very helpful. Must be able to bring a laptop to work and may be asked to assist with the management of our website.
Internship may lead to a paid position.
Will be needed at least three days a week, plus special events.
