- January 15Arts Respond Project - semi-annual deadlineArts Respond Project applications are due January 15, 2013.
Applications are for projects that begin between April 1 and August 31, 2013. The project must end by August 31, 2013.
This is the second of two deadlines for Fiscal Year 2013, so eligible organizations can only apply in priority areas that they did not receive funding for at the first deadline.
Eligible organizations can submit up to two applications at this deadline.
Online deadline by midnight CST - January 30Cultural Districts Designation Program - Letter of Intent deadlineOrganizations interested in applying for the Cultural Districts Designation Program are required to submit a Letter of Intent via email by January 30, 2013. The Letter of Intent should include a one-page overview of the plans for the cultural district including a timeline. The full application is due June 3, 2013.
Electronic mail deadline by midnight CST - January 31 to February 1TCA Statewide ConferenceState of the Arts: Strategies for Success will take place in downtown Austin on January 31 and February 1, 2013.
This conference will feature information of importance to the arts industry in Texas. Topics range from gaining financial stability to building new audiences, using social media to effective marketing, arts education to ADA compliance. Arts organizations, artists, arts administrators and board members are encouraged to attend this powerful two-day gathering hosted by the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Texas Cultural Trust.
