State of the Arts Conference: Strategies for Success
Arts organizations, artists, arts administrators and board members are encouraged to mark their calendars for the State of the Arts Conference: Strategies for Success to be held in Austin January 31-February 1, 2013.
Hosted by the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Texas Cultural Trust, the conference will feature information of importance to the arts industry in Texas. Topics range from gaining financial stability to building new audiences, using social media to effective marketing, arts education to ADA compliance.
One of the highlights of the conference will be developing an effective strategy for marketing your organization to funders, donors and new audiences. State of the Arts Conference: Strategies for Success will bring together experts in the areas of foundation funding, social media marketing, and crowdsourcing to answer questions and provide insight.

Texans for the Arts - Art Advocate Visits to the Capitol
Prior to the start of the TCA conference, Texans for the Arts is organizing an opportunity for art advocates to gather and visit the Capitol. It will be a morning of camaraderie and inspiration.
