Jesse Bransford: The Fourth Pyramid

For GAR’s first anniversary, Brooklyn-based artist Jesse Bransford’s drawings and numerical symbols transform the GAR gallery into a three dimensional incantation. Under the influence of these symbols, the wind whispers to the wasted land, the images flash: sunrise, sunset, sulphur pit, the foaming tide, a hand traces patterns on sun drenched sheets, the mouth opens to speak and The Fourth Pyramid appears.
