After a career spent mining his music from the shadows, one fan creates a chain reaction for the lead singer of a black metal band.

About the Director

Kat Candler’s award-winning films have screened at the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, Slamdance, the San Francisco International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Festival, and on PBS. She has been a participant in the Tribeca Film Institute’s Tribeca All Access program and the Independent Feature Project’s No Borders, Emerging Narratives, and Rough Cuts Lab. Currently she has two features in development—Nikki Is a Punk Rocker and Hellion. Candler is a film lecturer at the University of Texas and founded the Women in Cinema student organization there.
