DEA announces regional consultation meetings on the proposed change to
the language of DEA’s peyote regulation. Tribal leaders and members of
the Native American community are invited to participate in these

comments received during the consultation period, DEA will determine
whether to proceed with rulemaking to change the language of DEA’s
peyote regulation. If DEA engages in rulemaking, an appropriate notice
will be published in the Federal Register. DEA will also make information
on the peyote regulation available on this web site under the
"Federal Register Notices" link and the "What’s New"
link.
