The Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration, Centers for Substance Abuse Treatment is implementing a Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment initiative, which involves the implementation of a system within the community and /or medical setting that screens for and identifies individuals with or at-risk for substance use related problems.
