If you meet the following criteria you now have the ability to utilize the MDC Remote Visitation Site. This site is centrally located in downtown Albuquerque on the corner of First Street and Roma NW. The visit is pre-scheduled by calling the Remote Visitation Site at least 48 hours prior to your requested visit.

Criteria: You must be handicap certified and/or an elderly senior over the age of 65. Proof of and/or handicap certification must be presented at time of visit. Handicap State Certification card with placard Number and expiration date must be provided.

How to Schedule: The visit must be scheduled. To schedule, call the Remote Visitation Site at 468-1613, at least 48 hours prior to your requested visit. Requests for Remote Visitation may be made from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. You must show up at least 10 minutes prior to the visit.  The visit will last for 25 minutes.

Visiting Schedule: The Remote Visitation Site will utilize the following schedule. Visits are scheduled to occur between 8:30am and 1:30pm.

Monday - Unit D/Unit F

Tuesday - Unit E

Wednesday - Unit F/Unit D

Thursday - SEG/HSU/Infirmary/Unit E

Friday - SEG/HSU/Infirmary

Number of visitors allowed: Any combination of three visitors, with at least one visitor who must be at least 18 years of age and meet the remote visitation qualification criteria listed above (i.e., one adult and two children, two adults and one child or three adults).

Visiting rules and Dress Code are strictly enforced.
