HHS Releases Update of Understanding Breast Changes: A Health Guide for Women

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced today that the HHS National Institute of Health (NIH) National Cancer Institute (NCI) has released its updated booklet in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Understanding Breast Changes: A Health Guide for Women.

FDA, FTC Issue Joint Warning Letter to Web Site Offering Fraudulent H1N1 Flu Supplements

The letter issued last Thursday by the FDA and FTC is the first joint warning issued by the agencies and warns the web site against marketing some of its products as treatments or cures for the H1N1 virus. Since May of 2009, the FDA has issued warnings to more than 75 web sites making similar claims. View the warning letters.
