American Institutes for Research is a leading research organization specializing in education, educational assessment, and other social policy issues.� Our Adult Education programs is currently looking for a Research Analyst who will initially be working with two programs that focus on ESL instruction, second language acquisition, and a ABE/ASE content standards consortium.
Position Responsibilities include:
* Developing an RFP for a Subcontractor to develop curriculum 
* Conduct site visits to programs participating in study and collect data on implementation 
* Partner with trainers of curriculum to ensure proper implementation 
* Serve as a liaison to 7 states in the ABE/ASE content standards consortium - assessing needs and providing technical assistance 
* Work with consortium to provide resources/materials to place in the project website 
* Develop and collaborate on a guide to develop and implement standards 
Ideal candidates will possess:
* PhD in Education, Public Policy, or other Social Science 
* Strong project management skills 
* Adult education and ESL experience 
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
