One of the side benefits of using a computer
program is that students who are computer "illiterate"
are able to be introduced to its use slowly and
gradually.
My web site, pumarosa.com, is helpful because it
is easy to navigate, there is no registration, etc.,
and it's free.
Now I am showing students how to use 3 1/2
Floppies, word processing, typing, the web, email, and
on and on.
I have found that people who are barely literate
in their own language actually enjoy using the
computer this way.
