Thank you, Ujwala, for writing so clearly.
Your message was very helpful.

I was left feeling awful by the previous message from Eugenio, it was so
full of contradictions and anger.
I am glad you invited him to join in a dialogue in which we all could
learn.

Like you, I'm left feeling as if this conversation has been
unnecessarily oppositional. 
I am not being smug. I genuinely can't discern what (or, who) the
intended target has been in 
several of the messages. 

I have to say I really am troubled by this, not by dissension, but by
the anger which prevents constructive dialogue.
