As a former Adjunct Professor of Social Worker whose profession is based
upon talking it is true that the most effective Health Practitioners
spend time with their patients TALKING to them - identifying and
reassuring their fears, explaining treatment choices, outcomes,
medications and basically empowering them to achieving their own health
literacy.
