Alas, the IT department has no response to requests to unlock this video other than "but youtube is blocked".

This frustration leads me to the following question: as more and more agencies use Web 2.0 to access their desired audience (youtube, facebook, myspace, bebo, etc), how do we ensure that health professionals can also access these materials? How do we convince the 'powers that be' (policy makers, purse-string pullers) that access to the same media as our desired audience is a necessity?

How do we access the tools we need to reach out to our clients, when those tools are behind a locked door? Does anyone have a story about when they convinced the policy makers to relent a little on a hot topic like this?

I hope you can see this You Tube Video http://tinyurl.com/64uws2 asking people to look at the fast food company brochures to see which meal choice has more calories.
