Hello all,
A former student of mine and her husband is moving to North Carolina from New York. This is their first major move since arriving here from their native Mexico. They plan to continue their studies in NC.They are planning to go to the university of NC at Charlotte. They are looking for help with jobs and housing but mostly with a circle of friends.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how they might make their move and assimilation easier? The student is in Level 5; her husband's English is much better.

Ideas, suggestions, comments, please contact me off list.

Thanks,
tnahim@aol.com
