Congressman Platts Offers Thanks & Support for US Troops in War on Iraq

"As war with Iraq is now upon us, I want to first give thanks for the thousands of brave and patriotic Americans in uniform who are going into harm's way to protect their fellow citizens from the threat posed by Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. Second, I am also grateful that our great Nation is blessed with the profound leadership of our Commander-in-Chief, President George Bush, who has shown tremendous resolve in making the difficult, but necessary military decisions to protect our Nation and its citizens. May all Americans keep our men and women in uniform, along with their family members, in their thoughts and prayers. God bless the United States of America."
