I have a special request to throw out there and hopefully receive some response on. My supervisor and I are doing some research in trying to find other Women's Centers, like our own, that contain a literacy program in particular. We are hoping to visit a site and gleen some best-practices, new ideas, and expertise from fellow women working to benefit other women in the realm of literacy. We do have a grant that fulfills our desire to learn from others anywhere in the U.S. and are very anxious to make this happen. If any of you can contribute ideas to help our research (my research in particular), I would certainly appreciate it. Thank you in advance, Nicole White -- Nicole White Program Coordinator Expanded Horizons Literacy Initiative Women's Center of Jacksonville (904)722-3000 ext: 235 www.womenscenterofjax.org
