The Federal Acupuncture Coverage Act
H.R. 1479, the Federal Acupuncture Coverage Act, would add acupuncture to the list of health care treatments available to seniors and the disabled through Medicare and to federal employees and their families through the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) program. I have been offering the bill since 1993 when I first came to Congress because I believe that patients should have access to acupuncture's safe and affordable benefits.
