Technology Pavilion

The FTC hosted a Technology Pavilion in connection with our hearings on “Protecting Consumers in the Next Tech-ade.”  The goal of the Technology Pavilion was to bring to life the issues being discussed during the hearings, and to allow hearings participants and other members of the public to experience first-hand some of the new products and services they can expect to see more of in the coming years.  It was an interactive experience, featuring demonstrations and informational displays about new products and technologies.

The Pavilion was held in the George Washington University’s Cloyd Heck Marvin Center, located at 800 21st Street, NW, across the street from the hearings.  It was open from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm on November 6-8, 2006.
