Americans are concerned about federal appropriations requests, or "earmarks". Many in our district are interested in how they work, on why they are requested, and concerned about where their federal dollars are being spent. These requests support education, health, research, infrastructure, and many other areas that contribute to the well-being of our district, state, and nation, and our constituents deserve to know the reasons behind our requests.
In order to make the Appropriations process as transparent as possible to our constituents, all of the earmark requests I submit will be posted on this page. Below is the list of requests I have submitted to the House Appropriations Committee for FY 2010. We will update them as we submit them to the Committee.
