| WASHINGTON – Flag Day is Monday, June 14, and Congressman Dennis Cardoza, D-Merced, reminds constituents they have the opportunity to purchase American flags that have been flown over the U.S. Capitol.
"Anyone can purchase an American-made flag through my congressional offices at any time," Cardoza said. "The flags are well constructed and reasonably priced. I encourage anyone looking for a new flag or a nice gift to consider purchasing a flag that’s flown over our Capitol." The flags are available in cotton or nylon, and they may be ordered in several sizes. The prices range from $17.00 to $29.20, including the shipping and handling of the flag direct from Cardoza’s Washington office to the address of your choice. Every flag is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity to show it was flown over the U.S. Capitol. Each flag also arrives with information describing the proper care of American flags.
