CARDOZA TO HOLD TOWN HALL MEETING ON QUALITY OF LIFE IN MERCED COUNTY

 

Saturday, September 17 Public Event Will Cover Issues Ranging From Air Quality to Education

WASHINGTON – Congressman Dennis Cardoza, D-Merced, will host a town hall meeting this Saturday, September 17 from 10 AM to Noon to discuss a wide range of issues relating to quality of life in Merced County.  The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place in the Merced City Council Chambers at 678 W. 18th Street in downtown Merced.

 

This event is an opportunity for the people of Merced County to participate in a wide-ranging discussion of issues such as transportation, air quality and education.  Congressman Cardoza will join a panel of guests in discussing the challenges and opportunities facing Merced County and the Central Valley during this period of unprecedented growth.

 

For those unable to attend, Congressman Cardoza will be taking calls from Merced County residents from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday, October 1st to discuss current issues. The call-in number is 1-800-356-6424.
