Main Catalog – Find books, documents, legal materials, magazines, journals, manuscripts, maps, videos and more in the collections of the California State Library, including the Sutro Library in San Francisco.

Picture Catalog – Find some of the photographs and historic images from the Library's rich collections of photographs, prints, drawings, and sheet music.

Braille and Talking Book Catalog – Find Braille, cassettes and talking books available to eligible users of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.

Not all of the Library's collections are included in the catalogs. For details, please refer to our descriptions of the Library's collections. Please note that rare materials and materials labeled NC (non-circulating) are available for use only in the Library's reading rooms; the materials are not available for loan.
