Dust storms over the Persian Gulf

Compared to the previous day’s image, this true-color Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) image of the Persian Gulf shows dust more prominently over the southern parts of the Gulf. This image was acquired by Terra MODIS on May 29, 2003.
