Neil's Spotlight House healthcare reform draft discussion available

The House and Senate have been working on their respective healthcare reform proposals. A draft discussion on the House proposal is available. A Senate bill has been approved.
The House The House coordinated the work of three committees--Energy & Commerce, Education & Labor, and Ways & Means-- to produce a discussion draft. It was unveiled by Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles B. Rangel, Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman and Chairman Emeritus John Dingell, and Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller.
The Senate A Senate committee has passed one of the Senate's two reform bills and has released a section-by-section summary. The other Senate bill by the Finance Committee has not yet been released.
