The next two digits indicate the State, with 00 indicating a National estimate
A 1-digit code that identifies the specific summary estimate case type. Major case types are defined by the OSH recordkeeping guidelines and include total recordable cases:
1 Total recordable cases.
2 Cases involving days away from work, job restriction, o .
3 Cases involving days away from work.
4 Cases involving days of job transfer or restriction.
8 Other recordable cases.
T Total recordable cases of poisioning.
U Total recordable cases of skin disease.
W Total recordable cases of respiratory illnesses.
Indicates the industry for which the data were reported. The data are based on the classification of industrial activity as defined by the 2002 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).
