Title: UARS B-ROLL
Abstract: This video summarizes science and data obtained by the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS) mission. UARS was launched in 1991 to study ozone depletion and the processes that control the stratospheric ozone layer. Although the mission was intended to last only 18 months, UARS continues to operate 7.5 years after launch with 8 of the 10 instruments.UARS was one of the most successful NASA satellite programs. The spacecraft was developed and is managed by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

*Please note: the SVS does not fulfill requests for copies of the tapes in our library. On some of our animation pages, there is a direct link to a video distribution service from which tapes, handled by the Public Affairs Office (PAO)/Goddard TV, including some of our animations may be ordered. General information on this service can be found here.
