Evidence From Census 2000 About Earnings by Detailed Occupation for Men and Women — A special tabulation of the number and percentage of men and women in 505 civilian occupations nationwide, matched with median and average earnings data. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of May 30.)

Disability and American Families: 2000 — Information on disability prevalence in families at the national, regional and state levels, with data on family income, employment status of the family householder and poverty status of families with a member who has a disability. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 6.)

Ancestry: 2000 — In addition to national-level results, this report lists the five largest ancestries at the regional and state levels and the single largest ancestry in each of the 10 largest U.S. cities. A thematic map illustrates the geographic distribution of the largest ancestry groups across all counties. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 13.)

 

Non-Census

2003 American Housing Survey — Provides information on a variety of topics, including home ownership, characteristics of homes and their owners, housing costs, vacation homes, gated communities and residents’ views of their neighborhoods. National and regional-level data. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of May 30.)

Local Employment Dynamics: A Profile of Older Workers — These reports focus on older workers by industry, their age, job gains and losses, the industries in which they are concentrated, their job stability and earnings. (California scheduled for release on June 2.)

Estimates of U.S. Population by Age, Sex, Race and Hispanic Origin: July 1, 2003 — National-level population estimates cross-tabulated by these demographic characteristics. Comparable estimates for 2002, 2001 and 2000. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 6.)

Educational Attainment in the United States: 2003 — An annual report card on college and high school graduation rates at the national and state levels, with information by race and ethnicity. Based on the Current Population Survey. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 6.)

2003 Subcounty Population Estimates — Estimates of the population of cities, towns, villages and boroughs as of July 1, 2003. Includes rankings of cities with population of 100,000 or more and, within states, of cities with populations of 10,000 or more. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 13.)

Facts for Features: Back to School — Statistics from the Census Bureau’s demographic and economic subject areas pertaining to teachers, students and the reopening of schools. Similar Facts for Features commemorate other events or holidays throughout the year. (Tentatively schedule for release the week of June 13.)

Dynamics of Economic Well-Being: Labor Force Turnover, 1996-1999 — National report looks at the size, speed and direction of labor force turnover and its components, how monthly turnover varies and average turnover rates for major industry and occupation groups. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 20.)

Current Population Survey Data Collection — During the week of July 18, Census Bureau field representatives will visit randomly selected households in the Current Population Survey’s monthly update of employment data. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 20.)

Data Collection in July for Quarterly Consumer Expenditure Survey — In July, Census Bureau interviewers will contact a national sample of randomly selected households in a survey that measures what Americans spend on groceries, clothing, health care and housing. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 20.)

 

Economic

2002 Public Education Finances — Internet tables on revenues, expenditures, debt and financial assets for public elementary and secondary school systems. Includes state rankings on revenues and expenditures per pupil. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of June 6.)
