Practices To Help Reduce Disparities In Healthcare

In healthcare, issues such as gender, ethnicity, geographic location, or socioeconomic status should not determine quality of care. To reduce disparities, NQF recently endorsed a framework and practices to guide healthcare systems in providing care that is culturally appropriate and patient-centered. Practices cover issues like communication, community engagement and workforce training.
