Project Status

As of April 21, 2009, 3530 human and avian isolates have been completely sequenced and made available through GenBank.

Viral Samples Being Sequenced

Additional sample and collaborator information available at JCVI ( a non governmental link)

BioHealthbase

A Bioinformatics Resource Center supporting influenza genetic, surveillance, pathogenesis and host response data as well as genomic database tools. (non-Government link)

NCBI Influenza Virus Resource

Presents data obtained from the Influenza Genome Sequencing Project and GenBank, combined with tools for flu sequence analysis and annotation. In addition, it provides links to other resources that contain flu sequences, publications and general information about flu viruses.
