The USMA Admissions Office offers daily candidate orientation visits for students interested in applying to West Point. Visits are scheduled Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during the academic term, the program begins at 8:45 a.m. and concludes at approximately 1:00 p.m. During the visit, prospective candidates accompany their cadet escorts to class, visit the barracks and eat lunch with their escorts in the Cadet Mess. During the visit, candidates accompany their cadet escorts to class and other activities, spend one night in the barracks and eat meals with their escorts in the Cadet Mess. Overnight visits are scheduled by making an appointment at least two weeks in advance and require approval by the USMA Admissions Office.
