Temperatures Plummeted Below Freezing Sunday, May 11th
| As surface high pressure of Canadian origin built into Nebraska, skies cleared and temperatures dropped below freezing across the majority of Western and North Central Nebraska. The tables below indicate the lowest temperatures recorded at automated sites, at Nebraska Department of Roads and Union Pacific sensors, and Remote Automatic Weather Stations used in fire weather forecasting. Cooperative Observers also provided valuable information during this spring frost/freeze event. |
