Packing sustained winds of 75 miles (120 km) per hour, with gusts of up to 92 miles (147 km) per hour, Tropical Cyclone Ebula was moving south-southwestward in the Indian Ocean on January 10, 2003. Ebula was expected to track to the south over the following day. These true-color images of Tropical Cyclone Ebula were captured by Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) flying aboard the Aqua and Terra satellites.
