Republic of Palau
IERHB has conducted a vulnerability assessment of public health and hospital emergency
plans, helped train locals in both emergency public health planning and
emergency medical care, assisted in the establishment of both a sister
affiliation and the Pacific Center for Emergency Health. In October 2002, IERHB
staff held the 1st Pacific Regional Bioterrorism Preparedness Workshop to assist
regional public health officials develop emergency public health and hospital
plans.
