Annual Fermilab Severe Storm Seminar with WGN's Tom Skilling - April 25
The 29th annual Fermilab Severe Storm and Tornado Seminar, hosted by WGN TV Chief Meteorologist, Tom Skilling, will be held Saturday April 25 at noon and repeated at 600 PM. Each session lasts about four and a half hours. The program is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. This is not a severe storm spotter training class. It is a seminar about severe storms and tornadoes. If you can't make it out, this year's program will be streaming live on wgntv.com! In addition, WGN and Midland Radio will be giving away 10 NOAA Weather Radios at each program.
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory is located in west suburban Batavia. To get to the seminar, proceed to the west entrance into Fermilab off Kirk Road. It is about 3 miles north of the Farnsworth/Kirk Road exit off I-88.
