Public Weather Safety Talks
 
Spring is here, and with it comes the risk of severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, large destructive hail, flood producing downpours, deadly lightning, and of course nature’s most violent storms – tornadoes. Learn more about these dangerous storms and how to become better prepared for a weather disaster. The National Weather Service office in Chicago will be participating in several severe weather safety programs this spring and summer. These programs are free and open to anyone.
