This MODIS true-color image of parts of Peru (upper left), Bolivia (right) and Chile shows Lake Titicaca in the upper center of the image, where it straddles the border of Peru and Bolivia. The greenish body of water its southeast is Lake Poops. Lake Poops is a salt-water lake, with no outlet to the sea. The large white areas to the southwest of the lake are the Uyuni Salt Flats.
