TMDL Knowledgebase Clearinghouse
Virginia Tech's Center for TMDL and Watershed Studies has developed this database, funded in part by an EPA grant, which houses selected TMDL-related information. This searchable clearinghouse contains three types of resources: TMDL guidance documents, reviews, and summaries of TMDL-related technical and trade literature, and state-by-state summaries of TMDL programs across the nation.

This Web site, funded in part by EPA grants, provides general information on TMDLs, specific examples, approaches to implementation, and many other technical, educational, and regulatory resources related to TMDLs.
Water Environment Federation's Third Party TMDL Development Toolkit (PDF) (30 pp, 1.7MB)
This tookit, developed under a cooperative agreement with EPA, provides basic steps in which an organization or group other than the lead water quality agency takes responsibility for developing the TMDL document and supporting analysis.

This Webcast provides an introduction to the impaired waters listing and TMDL Programs. Case examples illustrate the various principles of the TMDL Program and how this program is being used to guide water quality control decisions in both the point source and nonpoint source arenas. The Webcast also describes how you can be involved in the 303(d) listing and TMDL development efforts in your watershed.
