Fires and smoke in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam

There is so much smoke in the air from fires (red dots) that much of the ground underneath is completely obscured. These fires are burning in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam. This true-color MODIS image was acquired April 7, 2002.
