Numerous fires are burning in several Africa countries, including Angola (lower left), Zambia (lower right), Tanzania (far right), and the Democratic Republic of Congo (center). The fires appear as red dots. The large lake straddling the border between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania is Lake Tanganyika.
