• Multiple words as an exact phrase: enter the phrase in quotes.

Example Query: "north american missile launch"

This search will return only the documents that contain the exact phrase "north american missile launch".

• All of multiple words: Enter each mandatory word with a plus sign in front of it, with no spaces between them.

Example Query: +missile +launch

This search will return only documents which contain both words.

• Excludes certain words: Use the minus sign to denote words you do not want to occur in your results.

Example Query: missile -launch

This search will return any documents which contain the word missile but not the word launch.
