The Purchasing Division makes available training to City employees in the various procurement functions.

Through the successful completion of sessions the individuals will have a good comprehension of the Purchasing process and requirements as mandated by the City Public Purchases Ordinance.

We encourage attendance for those involved in the purchasing process for their division or department.

All training is located at the Purchasing Conference Room, City Hall room 7033.

Insurance, Bonds, & Wage Rates: Learn about types of insurance and bonds. When insurance, bonds, and wage rates are required for purchases.

Special Purchases: The class will cover how to use state, federal, and other governmental contracts. What are exempt, sole source, and emergency procurements and how to correctly use and document for such purchases.
