The Cache la Poudre River Corridor National Heritage Area begins at the boundary of Roosevelt National Forest on the west and runs downstream along the river until it joins the South Platte River east of Greeley, Colorado.

The Cache la Poudre River Corridor runs through several towns including LaPorte, Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor, and Greeley, Colorado.

By car to:

LaPorte, Colorado; From Denver take US 25 North approximately 58 miles to Fort Collins, then take US 287 North approximately five miles.

Fort Collins, Colorado; From Denver take US 25 North approximately 58 miles.

Timnath, Colorado; From Fort Collins take US 25 South approximately four miles.

Windsor, Colorado; From Fort Collins take US 25 South approximately seven miles, then take CO 392 East approximately four and a half miles.

Greeley, Colorado; From Denver take US 25 North approximately 44 miles, then take  US 34 East approximately 20 miles.
